Andromeda at Mount Ngungun

Mount Ngungun in the Glasshouse Mountains is a beautiful place to climb at. Situated low on the south-western aspect Andromeda is a great rock climbing crag for children and adults. The rock is slabby with pockets and edges and it is fully bolted with lower off's.

The walk up is easy. You go up the normal track for about ten minutes until you see an obvious track off to the left. Follow this track, keep walking past a warning sign and you will be at the Andromeda rock climbing cliff.

It is a great place to climb having a bunch of easier routes. This is a great place to do your first lead in the steeper section. It is a little bit sketchy to fall on the slab.
