Castle Hill Bouldering

Castle Hill is a great place in the South Island of New Zealand to go climbing at. The rock type is limestone and it is great, the climbing there is mostly bouldering but there is some lead. 

Castle Hill is a place for hard climbers. It is a magnificent place to go too not just for climbing but the views, are as good as the climbs. You can sit down and have a picnic or just go hard core bouldering. You can pick up a boulder mat and a guide book at Smilies in Springfield.
