Frog Buttress

Frog Buttress is a South East Queensland crag made out of Volcanic Rhyolite Pillars and it is mainly crack. There are about 400 routes up to 40m in height.

Frog Buttress is a phenomenal piece of rock. Some climb’s like Materialistic Prostitution (15m grade 16) and Shit Heap (8m grade 14) are both great climb’s for kids and adults to lead their first trad climb. There are some good multi pitch’s too, like Plume (25m grade 18) and Faki (17m grade 15) but feels like a 21. Some other great classic one’s are Elastic Rurp (2 star route 20m grade 18) and gladiator (2 star route 17m grade 18).
